Acupuncture Associates: L.B. Grotte, M.D. at 5399 Mayfield Road, Cleveland, Ohio.

I started seeing Dr. Grotte earlier this year for pain management and treatment for neuropathy on my lower leg. (My saphenous nerve was severely injured during an ACL surgery last year and later developed into a horrible problem called RSD. I was in tremendous nerve pain last year and could not walk without crutches. I tried all kinds of western medicine and Ketamine treatments, I got nothing but the side effects. ) Dr. Grotte's treatment methods are very different - he works on the root of my problem, makes effort to help me heal the nerves, improve the flow, rather than just temporarily stop the pain. I feel relief after each acupuncture treatments and the herb medicine he prescribes is really safe and helpful too. I like the fact he treats the entire body as a whole system rather than just focus on my leg...I am already way better compared to beginning of this year, with the lost muscle growing back steadily and less frequent nerve pain without going through a risky and intrusive second knee surgery.. Although acupuncture treatments are not covered by my insurance and not inexpensive, I plan to keep seeing him until I'm 100% well. I highly recommend Dr. Grotte and his assistant Amy who is very sweet and also very knowledgeable!!
